Restoration Heights Church has Five Core Values:

-MISSION

-THE WORD OF GOD

-DISCIPLESHIP

-COMMUNITY

-WORSHIP

Each Core Value is broken down into practices:

MISSION

JusticeWe believe that God deeply cares for the marginalized, the mistreated, and the most vulnerable. We want to not only speak out against injustice but to take active steps to make change.

Ministry of the Holy Spirit â€‹- We believe the activity of the Holy Spirit is vital for us in our every day lives. One of our greatest tools as followers of Jesus is the simple phrase “can I pray for you” and sometimes we get to see Gods Kingdom break in to our present reality.

EvangelismWe believe that God loves people more than they could possibly know, and that He is on a mission to restore the world back to Himself. He has called us to join in this mission, both locally and globally.

Service - We believe the greatest expression of love is to serve. We hope to strive not for power or selfish ambition, but to meet the needs of those around us and to humbly obey the Lord in what He has called us to do.

WORD OF GOD

The Bible - We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is the story of the one true God interacting with His creation that He dearly loves. We value its power to instruct us and challenge us.

Hearing the Voice of God - We believe that God still speaks to us. Our desire is for every person in our church to grow in hearing his voice. We regularly and consistently listen to the prompts of the Spirit, and believe in its power to direct, empower and convict

DISCIPLESHIP

Growth - We value both Personal and Spiritual Growth. We believe God has called each one of us to follow Him just the way we are, but He is constantly inviting us to grow personally and spiritually

Authenticity - Our desire is that in all we do there would be vulnerability and integrity; that we wouldn’t be concentrated on power or selfish ambitions. Our goal is that we would not be hypocrites who live one way at church and another way at home.

Humility - We choose to follow the way of Jesus, that didn’t look for pedestals and power but laid his life down for those around him. The only recognition and approval we hope to see is that of our Heavenly Father.

COMMUNITY

Diversity - We believe that God made all people and is calling all people to be a part of his family. We believe that Jesus came to break down the dividing walls of hostility. We desire to be a place where all feel welcomed, safe, and celebrated for who they are.

Relationships - We value relationships with one another, and with God. Having a real relationship with Jesus is at the center of everything we do, and we highly value His greatest commandment: to love Him and love one another.

Inclusivity - We foster inclusive community which means that no matter your ability, age, class, culture, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, race and sexual orientation—you can belong in every area of our church.

WORSHIP

Praise - We love to celebrate who God is and what he has done. We do this through song but we hope to express this in everything we do.

Intimacy -  At the core of our worship and every gathering we have we have a hope, desire and expectation to meet with the living God. We believe this is central to just about everything we do.

Obedience - We hope to not only worship God through song, but in everything that we do. We believe our greatest form of worship is the way we live, and the way we treat others.

Generosity - We desire to be generous with everything God has blessed us with; our time, our talents and our possessions. We hope to be both personally and collectively generous to one another, and to the world around us.
